Earlier this winter Thao, whose design roots are in textiles, worked on a quilted series. Inspired by the Gees Bend and early Americana quilting traditions, she worked with vintage fabrics, over dyed and dyed linen to build improvisational compositions. Each one is finished with hand stitching. There's four beautiful pillows in the series and each one is a unique work of art.

Los Feliz pillow is 26 in x 26 in. Pillow cover is made of new and vintage cottons and linens, front is lined in thin 100% cotton batting and lined in cotton. Back is hand dyed linen. This pillow is skillfully hand made and bears the beautiful imperfection of the hand process.
